Victron Multiplus 24/1600/40 Inverter/Charger

The VICTRON Energy Multiplus 1600 VA Inverter Charger is a powerful pure sine wave inverter.

It features a sophisticated charger with adaptive ch6arging technology and a high-speed AC transfer switch, all in a very compact housing.

• UPS function

In the event of a possible blackout or generator disconnection, the integrated inverter automatically activates instantly and takes over the supply to power the connected loads. This happens so quickly that computers and other electronic equipment continue to function without interruption.

• Proven Reliability

Toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years. The inverter is short-circuit proof and protected against overheating, either due to overload or high ambient temperature.

• High starting power

Provides the needed power to start high power startup loads, such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps, or power tools.

• Search mode

When the Search Mode is on, the power consumption of the inverter in no-load operation is reduced by about 70%. In this mode the Multiplus, when operating in inverter mode, disconnects in case of no load or a very low load, and switches every two seconds for a short period. If the output current exceeds a set level, the inverter will continue to operate. If not, the inverter will shut down again.

• Programmable relay

By default, the programmable relay is configured as an alarm relay. (inverter too hot, low battery voltage, etc.)
