No jumper selection needed. also the interface is completely necessary to operate the victron's integrated Virtual Switch, which can operate the remote start of a generator or grid conection when certain programmed values are obtained.

 

All Victron Energy products equipped with an RS-485 data port can easily be integrated in a computerised monitoring and control system, such as VE.Net from Victron Energy.
